About The Library

The library is said to be the central point to coordinate teaching and learning process, for gathering knowledge that fulfills all the objectives of an educational institution. Our College Library is a Knowledge Centre which has rich resources mainly in Social Sciences; Humanities and Science as well, which is provided to the users through both print-based and electronic medium. The library is housed in a separate two floored annexed building which was officially inaugurated in the year 2009. The ground floor houses the Circulation Section, OPAC section and also provides photocopy facility for students & staffs, stores back volume journals & magazines. The first floor is used as reading section for students & staff with internet facility, provides access to reference books & also has a Study Circle Corner for students & staffs.
Our library has a rich collection of around 10280 books, valuable reference books, journals, educational CDs/ DVDs, open access e-books, e-journals, and other resources for the users. Library also provides access to the collection through On-Line Catalogue (OPAC). Our library has the institutional membership of the American Centre Library, Kolkata; N-LIST; NDL (IIT Kharagpur).
